Rev. John M. Zatkiewicz is a graduate of Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA where he earned his Master of Divinity degree and also completed a one year pastoral internship program.  Upon graduation, he served as an associate pastor in Monongah, West Virginia for three years.  He was ordained to the gospel ministry in March, 1993, and began his ministry as pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Geneseo, NY in August of 1994.

 

  Pastor John has a passion for preaching and teaching God's Word in a way that is challenging, but easy to understand.  He keeps involved in the community in a variety of ways including ministries at area Nursing Homes and the County Jail, and involvement in youth sports programs.

 

  Pastor John's wife Carol and their four children, Daniel (15), Anna (14), Sarah (13), and Timothy (10), are an important part of his life and ministry.

Pastor David J. Akers is a student at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA where he is working on his Master of Divinity degree.  He is serving Cornerstone as part of his pastoral internship.  He has also previously attended Word of Life Bible College and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Ministry from Baptist Bible College.

 

  Pastor Dave is passionate about ministry to children and young people.   His goal is to provide a fun and safe environment with opportunities for growth and service while learning godly character and habits.

 

  Pastor Dave's wife Diana and their two children: Alayna (1½) and David (newborn) are his best friends and greatest supporters.
